How we handle your information
Last updated 29 October 2026.
Who we are
Ironsyde Solutions (Pty) Ltd ("we", "us") runs askjuba.co.za and is the responsible party for the personal information collected through it, under South Africa's Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).
This policy covers this website. If your organisation uses the Juba product, the agreement between your organisation and us covers the information processed in it.
What we collect
- When you send the contact form: your name, work email, company (if you give it) and your message, together with the time, your IP address and your browser type.
- When you visit: our web server records your IP address, the page requested, the time and your browser type, for security and troubleshooting.
- On the sign-in page: nothing. What you type there is not sent or stored.
We don't use cookies, analytics or advertising trackers on this website.
Why we use it
We use your contact details only to reply to you and to arrange a demonstration if you ask for one. We use server records only to keep the website secure and working. We don't sell your information or share it for marketing.
Who else is involved
- This website is hosted on a server in South Africa.
- The page's fonts load from Google Fonts, so your browser connects to Google, which receives your IP address. Google's own privacy policy applies to that.
How long we keep it
We keep contact messages for up to 24 months after our last contact with you, unless you ask us to delete them sooner. Server records are overwritten automatically after a short time.
How we protect it
The website only accepts encrypted (HTTPS) connections, and messages are stored on our server where only our staff can read them.
Your rights
Under POPIA you can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, and object to how we use it. Send your request through the contact form on this website and we'll respond. If you're not satisfied with our answer, you can complain to the Information Regulator (South Africa) at inforegulator.org.za.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update it here and change the date at the top.
