The people behind Juba
Juba is built by Ironsyde Solutions (Pty) Ltd, a software company in Cape Town.
Who builds it
Juba is built by Gareth De Bruyn, in Cape Town. Gareth has built software for businesses since 2004: first as a developer, then for more than twelve years as lead business analyst at iOCO, working out what a business really needs before anything is built, and as head of generative AI products at R-Lab Ventures.
Why we built it
Much of the work in a finance or operations team is checking one document against another, chasing the piece that's missing, and finding the person who can decide. It's careful work, and it eats the day.
Juba does the checking and the chasing. It follows your written rules, records every step, and asks a person only when a person has to decide. Your team keeps the judgement calls and loses the busywork.
The name
Juba is Xhosa slang for the worker. That's the job: turn up, do the work properly, and leave a record of what was done.
How we work with you
- We build each agent with your team, on your own documents, and you see it work before you commit.
- Your data stays in your own systems. Juba reads what it needs when it needs it.
- It runs where you choose: hosted by us, on your own servers, or on your desktops.
